AAA Receives Quality Award from Mission Hospital
Mission Hospital celebrated Quality Week on October 19 - 23, 2009. The focus of this year's event was on quality projects to improve care for Mission patients. Winning projects demonstrated a comprehensive approach and documented results.
A team led by Doug Roberts, CRNA Administrator for Asheville Anesthesia Associates, did a study on the administration of the antibiotics in the operating room. This project was selected by Mission Hospital to receive a Quality Award. This study was conducted to ensure that antibiotics were administered according to national patient safety guidelines.
