Diane K. Hankes, DO, Joins Asheville Anesthesia Associates
Diane K. Hankes, DO, has joined Asheville Anesthesia Associates. Dr. Hankes graduated with a DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. She completed her residency in anesthesiology at University of Connecticut, where she was Anesthesia Chief Resident. Dr. Hankes also completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at Children's Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Hankes is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
Prior to joining Asheville Anesthesia Associates, Dr. Hankes was an Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Asheville Anesthesia Associates provides anesthesia services to Mission Hospital and other area hospitals and surgery centers throughout Western North Carolina.
